Give FO posts a small icon right next to them so you can know which FO you are on.
it could either be the FO owners icon, or you could have a bunch to choose from, it would help with more rapid identification of which group i was talking with

Clarification option on warning/suspension page
When suspended, and on the suspension/warning page, in addition to providing a link to appeal the suspension/warning, also provide a link to allow for clarification.
The use case: The user doesn't intend to appeal anything, but does want some dialogue to clarify some items with the rule or rules broken.
It makes sense that the clarification happen w/ in the scope of the suspension/warning incident...

Leave game countdown up a few hours after a game is over
The intent is to provide video/stat/etc links to review after a game, w/ out having to scour the internet for these same links. Currently once a game's over, the countdown is immediately removed.
When a game is over, perhaps grey out the countdown, and then ultimately remove it 2 or 3 hours after that...

Separate category or tab on home page for recruiting news
Either a separate category or tab along the top of the home page that is specifically for recruiting

If someone reports abuse on a poster, they are required to put that poster on ignore for a certain period of time
If you don't like that persons opinions, or schtick or find him/her offensive, and you go to the length of reporting abuse on his/her post, then you should use the ignore function as that is the reason it was created

enable searches by icon (POD, THup, etc.).
Example: search for the most THup'd post in food category which mentions hamburgers.

Show who can see a message when I switch the visibility from CFBs FO to mine I want to see the overlap of who is on both lists and can it
So have a thing you can hover over to see who can see the current message.

Show who can view a FO message
When you post on a FO, then reply but only let your FO see it, you should have a way to see who can actually see the message. It would be who is on the overlap between teh original FO and my FO

Give users the freedom to not only ignore other posters but to prevent those same posters from seeing and responding to their posts.

Sort child posts to the top of a given thread based on thumbs up/POD
Sort child posts to the top of a parent thread and base it off of the number of thumbs-up and POD the child post has. Conversely those child posts that have more thumbs-down will sort closer to the bottom.
The intent of this feature is to put to the top the best posts, and the worse posts to the bottom, making it easy to see the most relevant posts.
One obvious use case: Someone posts a question: "Is there video on the new football commit?" This parent thread will typically have several child responses. The 8th child post is the…

Tag a new post for a group that I belong to
It would be nice to have the ability to have a post in Gen Pop, but still have the group notified about it.
Here is an example of the current way it is being done:
I want to post something about my car on the board, but I also want to make the members of the Car group aware of the post. I have to create the post and then reply to the post with a group-only filter and say something lame like "tagged".1 vote -
Remove the ability to start FO related threads that are not visible to the OP. It is being used as anonymous jabs at the OP.
This would require posters to engage in the original thread knowing The Referee is not far away or to start a completely new FO thread on the topic. That way the OP is not left trying to decide what people are saying about him/her.

Provide more info in moderator messages.
If a user receives a penalty for using a thumb up/down, emoticon, POTD on a message and that message is later removed by a moderator, allow the person who gets a penalty for using the sign to see the message involved in his own penalty.
I'd provide a specific example, but I believe discussing a specific moderated message outside of an appeal thread is against the rules so I won't fall into that trap.1 vote -
Add option to add pro teams to game countdown list.
Users would be able to select pro teams like the lakers and angels to appear in the game countdown list.

Add a "Mormon Coaches" category
This would be the category we could use for Virginia games, under Bronco and the former BYU staff. It could also be used to talk about potential coaches at BYU and their games/successes. It could either be sport specific -- or it could just be a generic sports category for Mormon coaches in any sport and at any level.
