  2. Levels of FO, meaning you can designate some as being "preferred" or whatever and you can then post where only they can see that message.

    The premium groups haven't really given me reason to renew my subscription but this would.

  3. Always allow a user to see their own posts, even if thread has been moderated

    A user should always be able to see what he has posted, even if the thread it is attached to has been deleted/suspended/whatever.

  4. Top Ten list for FO posts

    When an individual user logs in, have it populate a Top Ten list based on their FO, or Followed Threads.

    Something the individual user can opt out of, of course. But it'd be cool to have my CB home screen be my own personal Top 10 based on the threads I am currently following.

  5. Inidivdual stat tracker.

    There is a site tracker that shows posts per month, etc. It would be nice to be able to track your own individual stats to see which months you post the most, when your obsession began, etc.

  6. New category for shooting sports.

    A bullseye would be easy. All hunting, target shooting, etc. can go there. The whole 2nd Amendment discussion would have a home.

  7. Please bring back frames or something similar

    Right now you have Top Videos and Top articles etc in a tab control on the right side. Can't something be done to show the body of a post when it is selected and not switch to a new page.

    This would act like the old frames we used to have, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a frame.

  9. A list of all cougarboard members

    Sometimes I want to lookup a user to see their profile. But I have to search under the "search for posts" area. Their should be a CB members link where you can see the usernames of everyone that has an account on CB and have the names linked to their profile.

    When replying to a post, give an option to make it visible only to the person you are replying to. This would make it easier to follow the context of a discussion without having to us boardmail.

    It has almost zero utility for new users and lurkers.
    If you are going to have a "secret board" where info is passed, there needs to be a clearer path for those fans who really care about that kind of info to find it.

  18. Add a Post of the Month (or year)

    An amazing original site recently went up on Cougarboard... it was lost because no posts survive beyond 2 days, no matter how good they are. There needs to be a way to support really good posts beyond a couple of days.

  19. Ranking/Grade system for Citizenship

    Create a ranking/grade system that would allow users to easily compare two users "citizenship" in terms of historical disciplinary measures. No details on specific penalties need to be shared. Just compare "jail" time. There is a perception that some users get off "scott" free, which this ranking would help validate/refute.

    Ute fans should not be able to vote for Post of the Day, this is a BYU fan board and they Jimmer their own posts. Nor should they be allowed to Like/Dislike posts. Some of them are sincere, but this is our board, not theirs.
