  1. Make FO lists viewable by others - Make it an option that users can make public to all or restrict to FO.

    Sometimes I want to see who a certain friend is also friends with before sharing certain info on that FO list. However, I realize some friends might not want their entire list being public so allow users the option to list their FO in their bio or something for other Friends or completely hide it, etc. Make it sharable with certain groups just like we can do with our email, name, mission info, etc.

  2. Have an option for a profile space only visible to friends.

    This would allow us to either post a picture that we want to not be posted to the entire board or maybe leave a note to our friends only explaining any absences from the board or even just to share a little more personal side. I think this would help create an ever closer knit group.

    Add a function that allows me to order a pork chop straight from CB and have it delivered to my printer. I'm hungry, and lots of times I'm hungry when I'm on CB. Right now I'd like a pork chop, but I'm at the office, and I don't have any pork chops here. Even if I did, I don't have a good grill here to cook it properly. Can't CB provide me with pork chops?

  5. In the same manner that we can change the categories we view, let us filter by the number of views per a given post head.

    In the same manner that we can change the categories we view, also allow us to filter our "message board view" by the number of views a certain lead post has.

    For example, if we wanted to see the high levels of conversation in the day, we could filter by 400+. If we wanted to just be removed from much of the chatter, maybe that is a 75+.

    I see those options as an small icon/jpeg in the filter selection. 50+ 100+, 250+, 400+, 1000+.

  6. Can we please get a "former coaches" category? This is going to be an issue all season.

    If not, then maybe the rule on where our former staff is to be discussed can be clarified.

    Just a thought. I just want to turn that category off.

  7. Night Mode!

    It would be nice to have a night mode option. As I am on the east coast I find myself perusing CB at night. It would be great to have some sort of night mode option like Twitter/Mapping apps to toggle the background to a darker color that is easier on the eyes.

    I know this might not be feasible since user can pick their own text color in the body, bud I'd forgo that for night mode.

  8. Create a negativity rating on users/posters to raise the level of our discussions

    Allow users to tag a other users with negativity on negative posts (tearing players and coaches down, etc). Or perhaps if a post gets more than "x" thumbs down votes a user gets a negativity point. These would accumulate (and perhaps expire over time) and be visible to others on the users page (or even on the front).

    This is a FAN board... not a place for unfounded criticism and unfairly harsh judgments of those that are on our teams.

    There would be several benefits to this:
    1. It would discourage users from posting useless negativity toward players and coaches…

  9. Hide posts on front page (including tweets) by ignored users.

    I would like to filter out obnoxious posters, particularly tweeters, that show up on the front page under Top 10, Twitter feed, etc...

  11. Ability to send a boardmail to more than 1 user.

    Group boardmail feature. Even if limited to FO, allow boardmail to multiple recipients by entering comma separated usernames.

  12. Add an Atlanta Braves category

    As much as I love inning-by-inning updates of Braves games (only when they're in the middle of winning streaks or hot stretches, obviously), it might be useful to have a Braves category in the event that some people might feel otherwise but don't want to wholly ignore the baseball category.

  14. Ability to collapse inner branches to a thread

    While not normally an issue it would be nice to be able to collapse some of the inner branches of threads on the bigger posts (i.e. Front page posts), to make them more manageable.

    User creating the poll would have option of doing poll with public or private results. Users would be aware it's a public poll before answering as well.

  19. Allow muting of keywords, such as 'gay'

    There is way too much 'gay' talk. Please let me mute by a keyword. Extra points if you allow me to mute in GenPop, but not in FO.

  20. Always allow a user to see their own posts, even if thread has been moderated

    A user should always be able to see what he has posted, even if the thread it is attached to has been deleted/suspended/whatever.
